2011 Summer Plans
I decided summer gave us a good chance to ease into homeschooling. Just a little bit of individual work with most of our time spent working on unit studies and reading aloud together.
Big Sister’s Third Grade Individual Work:
- Pictures in Cursive Primer: she was so excited to transition to cursive and this is a beautiful book
- American Girl Felicity Lapbook from Homeschool Share to go along with our history study
Little Brother’s Kindergarten Individual Work:
- Explode the Code Primer books: to work on letter names and sounds
- Camping preschool pack from Homeschool Creations
Together:
- American Revolution unit study
- Wildflowers unit study
- Ocean unit study
- Journal writing: daily if possible, no assigned topics
