- Typing
Little Brother ~ Kindergarten
- Language Arts: Funnix learn-to-read program, also FIAR units and literature-based lapbooks from Homeschool Share
- Math: Singapore Math Earlybird Kindergarten textbook
Together
- History & Geography: 50 States Study
- Science: a weekly homeschool science class offered at a library in our area, also science topics included in unit studies
- Nature Study: ideas from Handbook of Nature Study blog, reference Handbook of Nature Study book
- Art: there will be art projects as part of our unit studies, also I will choose some lessons from the book Storybook Art
- Unit Studies: we will do other unit studies as we get time, as interest leads us, and to celebrate holidays
- Both children will also participate in a monthly homeschool book club: Little Brother’s club will go through the Magic Tree House books, Big Sister’s club will choose age-appropriate books
